Product Questions & Answers

Will this plug work with a standard hydraulic setup on my tractor? I'm just trying to replace a leaky one.
Question by: Brett A on Nov 6, 2025, 11:31 AM
This plug is designed for hydraulic fluid transfer, agricultural equipment, and other similar applications. It's made of stainless steel and uses Buna-N seals, so it should be compatible with most common hydraulic fluids. Just make sure the 1/2-14 NPTF female thread fits your existing setup.

stainless steel body on this plug, does that hold up running hydraulic fluid through it regular, like day in day out on a piece of construction equipment?
Question by: Judy S on Jan 23, 2026, 6:43 AM
Stainless steel holds up well in demanding hydraulic environments, and that's exactly the kind of use this plug was built around. Construction equipment is listed right in the application range, along with agricultural and in-plant manufacturing setups. The ball lock internal connection and Buna-N seals handle continuous hydraulic fluid transfer without issue, and the operating range bottoms out at negative 40 degrees, so cold-weather jobsites aren't a concern either.
