trying to replace an old 5503-06-06 elbow, is this the same thing or am i gonna end up with the wrong threads

For a straight replacement match, this part is Brennan 5503-06-06-FG and it also crosses to 5503-06-06 and A2088-6-6S. Threading is Male NPTF on one end and Female NPTF on the other, and both ends are 3/8-18 to SAE J476.

Will this elbow work with standard NPT fittings, or is there something special about the threads?

This elbow uses Male NPTF and Female NPTF threads, both manufactured to SAE J476 specifications, so it will work with other standard NPT fittings.
