Will this reducer bushing work with my existing 1/2-inch and 3/8-inch NPTF fittings?

This reducer bushing is designed with a male 1/2-14 NPTF thread and a female 3/8-18 NPTF thread, both conforming to SAE J476 specifications, so it should be compatible with standard NPTF fittings of those sizes.

got a port that’s 1/2-14 nptf but my line is 3/8-18 nptf. is this the bushing that steps it down?

It’s made for exactly that reduction. Thread B1 is a 1/2-14 male NPTF and Thread B2 is a 3/8-18 female NPTF, both to SAE J476, so it lets you adapt from a 1/2-14 female NPTF port down to a 3/8-18 male NPTF fitting.
