got a 1-11-1/2 male nptf port and need to step down to 1/2-14 female nptf. is that what this 5405-16-08 does

For adapting thread sizes, this one is a straight steel expander with a 1-11-1/2 Male NPTF on the B1 side and a 1/2-14 Female NPTF on the B2 side, both to SAE J476.
