fitting connects M16 female DIN tube to M14 male metric -- is that right?

Correct on both counts. Side one is an M16 x 1.5 female DIN tube connection and side two is an M14 x 1.5 male metric fitting. Both wrench flats measure 19mm across, and the total length runs 39.5mm with a 12mm length on the metric end. Steel construction throughout, straight configuration, no bends or offsets.
