both sides on this fitting are M26 x 1.5 thread, does that mean it connects two lines with the same size DIN tube ends?

Correct. Both sides carry an M26 x 1.5 callout, one male DIN and one female DIN, both at the L18 size. So you're looking at a same-size connection on each end, just oriented at 90 degrees to each other. That elbow configuration is real handy when you need to redirect a hydraulic line and can't swing a straight adapter into position.

Will this fitting work with standard DIN tubing?
