both sides on this fitting are M18 x 1.5 thread, right? just want to make sure before I order

Correct on both counts. Side one and side two are each M18 x 1.5, and both are DIN tube type connections. The difference is that side one is male and side two is female, which is what makes it a swivel configuration rather than a standard elbow. The 90 degree angle lets you redirect the line without having to bend tubing or reposition the component it's connecting to.
