Product Questions & Answers

got a female DIN tube end that’s M24 x 1.5 (S16). will this reducer step it down to a male M20 x 1.5 (S12) without any funny business
Question by: Howard P on Oct 30, 2025, 9:27 AM
For a straight step-down between DIN tube sizes, that is exactly what this reducer is built to do. Side 1 is a female DIN tube fitting with M24 x 1.5 threads in S16, and side 2 is a male DIN tube fitting with M20 x 1.5 threads in S12.

got a line running M24 x 1.5 female DIN on one end and need to step down to a M20 x 1.5 male DIN on the other, this the right fitting for that?
Question by: Denise K on May 25, 2025, 5:56 PM
That's what this reducer is built for. The female side picks up the M24 x 1.5 thread at S16 size, and the male end connects out at M20 x 1.5 in S12. Straight body, no angle, so it drops right in line between the two ports without any routing complications.
