got a female M24 x 1.5 DIN tube end on my line, will this step it down to a male M18 x 1.5?

For stepping down between DIN tube connections, it goes from a female M24 x 1.5 (S16) on one side to a male M18 x 1.5 (S10) on the other, in a straight inline adapter.
