both ends are M18 x 1.5 DIN tube connections, right? just want to make sure before i order a couple of these for a retrofit job

So you're working with matching connections end to end, which makes it a straight-through union rather than an adapter between two different thread types. At 38mm long overall, it stays pretty compact, and it uses 22mm and 16mm wrench flats (Ch1 and Ch2) for tightening.
