got a tube with L42 DIN on it, is this cap the right match or am i off a size

The key callouts are M52 x 2.0 female threads and an L42 DIN tube size. If your tube end is L42 DIN, this cap is made to match that spec.

That's what this one's built for. The thread is M52 x 2.0 female and it's spec'd to the L42 DIN tube standard, so if your fitting matches that, you're good to go.
