is this the number 2 shaft specifically for the PVH57, or will it fit other models in that pump family too

Built for the PVH57, this is a direct replacement shaft carrying the Eaton Vickers part number 513839. The fit is exact for that model. Without confirmed compatibility data for other PVH variants, it's best to stick with what the part number specifies and not assume crossover fitment.
