Product Questions & Answers

trying to swap out a plug on our wet line, is this the male half with the 1-1/4-11-1/2 female pipe thread?
Question by: Denise F on Feb 26, 2026, 7:47 PM
It is the male half (plug) in the 5100 Series with a -20 coupling size, and the pipe end is 1-1/4-11-1/2 female NPTF.

Will this connect under pressure okay? I got about 400 psi I need to hook up against.
Question by: Kirk P on Dec 11, 2025, 7:33 PM
You sure can connect this even with up to 500 psi of pressure. It's made to handle that without any trouble.

running dump trucks on wet lines and tired of losing fluid every time we unhook, how bad is the drip on this thing when you disconnect?
Question by: Dwayne S on Feb 20, 2026, 7:09 AM
Fluid loss on disconnect is rated at 0.70 cubic centimeters, which is about as close to nothing as you're going to get in a working hydraulic line. The tubular valve construction is what keeps that number that low. For dump and refuse applications where you're connecting and disconnecting regularly, that kind of spill reduction adds up fast and keeps the ground under your rig a lot cleaner over time.

got a wet line setup on a dump truck, is this the kind of quick disconnect that won’t make a mess when you unhook it?
Question by: Tammy P on Jul 29, 2025, 2:37 PM
For on highway hydraulic wet lines and dump or refuse vehicles, the 5100 Series low spill plug uses a tubular valve design that keeps fluid loss very low during disconnect. It is also built to limit air inclusion during hookup, which helps keep the system from getting spongy.
