Product Questions & Answers

connecting this thing while the system's still pressurized -- is that actually doable or do you have to bleed it down first?
Question by: Eddie S on Jan 22, 2026, 5:34 PM
You can connect it under pressure, up to 500 psi. That's one of the main reasons folks reach for this series when they don't want to shut a system down just to swap a line. The tubular valve construction is what makes that possible while keeping fluid loss to a bare minimum during disconnection.

So, this here dust plug will actually let me connect stuff even when it's still got pressure in it? Up to 500 psi, right?
Question by: Brenda B on Jan 1, 2026, 3:03 PM
That's correct. The connect-under-pressure capability allows joining the halves even when pressurized up to 500 psi. This makes connections easier when you can't fully relieve pressure in the system.
