got a DIN tube line running M18 x 1.5 that needs to tie into a 3/4-16 UNF ORB port on a valve block, this the right fitting to make that happen?

That's what this one's built for. One end is a male M18 x 1.5 DIN tube connection sized at L12, and the other is a male 3/4-16 UNF ORB-SAE at the 1/2" size. Steel construction, 90-degree elbow, so you're routing the line at a right angle as you bridge those two connection types. Fits the application you're describing.

trying to swap a line over, is this the 90 degree elbow that goes from M18 x 1.5 DIN (L12) to a 3/4-16 UNF ORB (1/2")?

The connections on this elbow are M18 x 1.5 DIN tube on one side (size L12, male) and 3/4 - 16 UNF ORB-SAE on the other (1/2", male). It is a steel 90 degree elbow adapter.
