trying to hook up a M20 x 1.5 DIN tube to a 3/8-18 NPTF port, is this the right elbow?

For that exact combo, yes. One end is a male M20 x 1.5 DIN tube connection (Side 1, S12) and the other end is a male 3/8 - 18 NPTF thread (Side 2), built as a 90 degree elbow.

That's what this one's built for. One end connects to an M20 x 1.5 DIN tube, the other side is a 3/8-18 NPTF male thread, and the whole thing bends at 90 degrees. Steel construction, so it holds up well in working hydraulic environments. The 17mm wrench width gives you a decent grip during installation without needing anything oversized.
