fitting goes from DIN tube to NPT -- is that male on both ends or just one side?

Both connections on this fitting are male. The DIN tube side is a male M18 x 1.5 thread, and the NPT side is a male 3/8"-18 NPTF thread. So you'd need female receivers on both ends of whatever you're connecting it to.
