trying to tie two DIN tube lines through a panel, is this the right kind of bulkhead fitting or am i barking up the wrong tree

Made for through-panel connections, it joins two DIN tube lines across a bulkhead while keeping the same thread and size on both sides. Both ends are M14 x 1.5 male DIN tube fittings in L08, and the body includes an 8 mm bulkhead mount section.

Will this here bulkhead union fit through just any panel, or is there a certain thickness it's made for?

This union's bulkhead mount section is 8mm long, so it will work with panels up to that thickness.

what's the thread size on both ends of this fitting, and are they the same all the way through?

Both sides run M14 x 1.5 DIN tube threads, same size and type on each end. The fitting is a straight, same-thread union, so nothing changes from one side of the panel to the other. If you're running L08 DIN tube lines on both sides of a bulkhead, this is built to connect them without any thread conversion involved.
