Got a system running BSPT half-inch fittings and need to tie into a DIN tube connection on the other end. this fitting do that job straight out of the box?

That's what this one's built for. Side 1 is a DIN Tube connection with an M22 x 1.5 thread and an L15 size rating. Side 2 is a male BSPT at R 1/2-14, which is your standard half-inch BSPT callout. Steel construction, straight profile, no adapters or extra pieces needed to bridge those two connection types.

got a tube nut marked M22 x 1.5 and it’s the L15 din tube style. is this the right adapter to go over to a 1/2 bsp?

On the DIN tube side, it matches an M22 x 1.5 male connection in size L15. The other end is a male BSPT with an R 1/2 - 14 callout, which is the 1/2 inch BSPT side.
