Reckon this'll work to hook up a DIN tube to a NPT fitting?

got a din tube end with M52 x 2.0 on it. is this the piece that’ll get me over to 1-1/2 npt on the other side?

For a DIN tube connection to a male NPTF port, it matches that transition. Side one is a male DIN tube end at L42 with M52 x 2.0 threads, and side two is a 1-1/2 inch male NPTF thread (1-1/2 - 11.5 NPTF), all in one straight steel adapter.

adapter's got an M52 x 2.0 on one end and 1-1/2" male NPT on the other -- that right? trying to match it up to an existing port on a hydraulic manifold before I order

that's correct. One side carries the M52 x 2.0 male DIN tube thread at an L42 size, and the other comes out as a 1-1/2 inch male NPTF at 1-1/2 - 11.5 NPTF. Both sides are male, so keep that in mind when you're checking what your manifold port accepts. If your port is a female NPT and you've got a DIN tube line coming in, this one handles that transition in a single piece without needing extra fittings in between.
