what size is the male SAE ORB end on this fitting, and does the thread call out match 3/4-16 UNF?

Correct on both counts. The male SAE ORB side is a 1/2" size and the thread callout is 3/4-16 UNF. Those two specs go hand in hand with the SAE ORB standard, so if your port is set up for a 1/2" ORB connection, this fitting lines right up.

i’ve got a DIN tube size L18 on one side and need to go over to a 1/2 inch ORB, is this the right adapter?
