what's the thread on the tube side of this fitting, is it metric or standard?

The tube end is metric. It runs M22 x 1.5 thread, sized L15, so it's built to mate with DIN-spec tube lines on that side. The other end steps over to a 3/4-16 UNF SAE O-Ring Boss port, which is the standard ORB thread you'd see on most North American hydraulic components. That's the whole point of this adapter, bridging a metric tube line into an SAE ORB port without needing extra fittings in between.
