got a DIN tube connection on my hydraulic line that's M18 x 1.5, will this fitting hook up to a 1/2" ORB-SAE port on the other end without needing any extra adapters?

That's what this one does. One end is a male DIN tube connection at M18 x 1.5 with an L12 size, and the other end is a male ORB-SAE at 3/4-16 UNF with a 1/2" size. Straight through, no additional adapters needed between those two connection types.
