Will this here fitting adapt a metric DIN tube to a SAE O-ring port like it says? Just want to be double sure.

Yes sir, you're spot on. This Adaptall adapter will connect a metric DIN tube end to a male SAE O-Ring Boss port. Side one has an M16 x 1.5 male DIN tube fitting at size L10, and the other side terminates in a 9/16-18 UNF male ORB thread sized for 3/8" line.

got a valve with a 9/16-18 ORB port and my tube end is DIN M16x1.5, is this the right adapter to tie those together?

For that mix of connections, it’s a match. Side 1 is an M16 x 1.5 male DIN tube fitting in size L10, and side 2 is a 9/16-18 UNF male SAE O-Ring Boss sized for a 3/8 inch line, all in a straight steel adapter.
