got a line running M14 x 1.5 DIN tube on one end and need to tie into a 3/8 SAE ORB port, this the right adapter for that?

That's exactly what this one's built for. One side threads onto an M14 x 1.5 DIN tube end (L08 sizing) and the other side is a 9/16-18 UNF male ORB thread sized for 3/8 inch connections. Steel construction, straight configuration, so it drops right into that kind of cross-standard hookup without needing additional fittings in between.
