got a metric DIN tube line running into a BSPP port on a manifold block, is this the right adapter to bridge that gap?

For an M22 x 1.5 DIN tube end connecting to a G 1/2 - 14 BSPP male port, yeah, that's exactly what this piece is built for. The DIN side is S14 sizing with that M22 x 1.5 thread, and the BSPP side comes out at 1/2 inch with the G 1/2 - 14 thread. Both sides are male, so you'd be threading this into female ports or fittings on each end. The elastomeric face seal on the DIN side handles the sealing there, which helps keep things tight under working pressure without needing extra tape or compound on that end.
