got a DIN tube nut that's M18 x 1.5 on one side and i need to land it into a 1/2 inch BSPP port. is this the right adapter?

For that kind of hookup, it matches up as a straight steel adapter with a DIN tube male end in M18 x 1.5 (size L12) and a BSPP male end in G 1/2 - 14 (size 1/2 inch).

Yeah, that lines up. The BSPP side on this one is G 1/2 - 14, which is a male connection sized at 1/2 inch. So if you've got a female G 1/2 BSPP port you're threading into, this should mate up fine. The DIN tube end is M18 x 1.5, size L12, so just make sure your tube and fitting on that side match those specs before you put it in.
