What kind of hydraulic setups does this connector work with? Just trying to make sure it'll fit my application.

It's made to connect M16 x 1.5 DIN Tube (male) on one end to a G 1/4 - 19 BSPP (male) connection on the other. So, as long as your system uses those, you should be good to go.

trying to hook a DIN tube line up to a BSPP port, is this the right adapter?

For that kind of mix-and-match, it’s meant to bridge an M16 x 1.5 DIN tube male on one end to a G 1/4 - 19 BSPP male on the other, in a straight steel connector.
