both sides on this fitting are M16 x 1.5 thread, that right? just want to make sure before i order

Correct on both counts. Each end carries an M16 x 1.5 male DIN tube thread, so you're working with a matched union that connects two lines of the same spec. The 5000S-08 is a straight configuration, no offset or angle to account for during installation.
