both sides on this union are M14 x 1.5 thread, right? just want to make sure before I order a couple

Correct on both counts. Each end carries an M14 x 1.5 male thread, so you're working with identical callouts on side one and side two. The S06 size designation applies to both sides as well, which keeps things consistent when you're slotting it into an existing metric setup.
