both sides on this union are M18 x 1.5 threading right? just want to make sure before i order

Correct on both counts. Each end carries an M18 x 1.5 male thread, so you're working with a symmetric union. Same size, same thread pitch, same DIN tube type on either side. No mixing or adapting between the two ends.
