Does this filter element use a buna-n seal or something else? we've had leaks before with cheaper seals and really can't afford that headache again

Buna-N is exactly what's on this one. That seal type holds up well under typical hydraulic fluid conditions and gives you a tight fit to keep the system from weeping or bypassing. If past leaks came from inferior seal material, this should be a step in the right direction.
