fitting says it's got a swivel on it, does that mean the female JIC end rotates after install or just during assembly?

The swivel function on this fitting lets the female JIC end rotate freely, which helps a lot when you're threading it onto a mating connection without twisting up the hose behind it. Once everything's torqued down in your assembly, the swivel lets you dial in the hose routing before locking things in place.
