Does this fitting come with thread sealant already on it, or do I need to grab some tape before I start wrenching?

Thread sealant is included with the fitting, so you can skip the extra trip to the supply cabinet. No need to wrap threads or apply a separate compound before assembly.

Dura-Kote plating on this fitting should offer pretty good corrosion resistance, even in demanding environments. It's part of the Danfoss/Eaton 4S series, which are designed to extend the life of your hose assemblies.

trying to swap a fitting on a -16 hose, is this one the permanent crimp style or a reusable deal

Built as a permanent crimp fitting, this is part of the Danfoss and Eaton 4S Series for 4-spiral hose assemblies and it’s sized for -16 hose (dash 16). It’s not a reusable style fitting.
