Will this fitting hold up in a hydraulic system on a farm tractor, dealing with the usual bumps and vibrations?

It should do just fine. This fitting is made from carbon steel and meets SAE J1176 standards, so it's built to handle tough conditions and vibration in hydraulic systems. does this fitting have any kind of rust or corrosion protection on it? running equipment outside year round and regular steel fittings dont last long at all

Corrosion resistance is built into the coating itself. Eaton Aeroquip applies what they call Dura-Kote plating to this fitting, which is specifically meant to hold up better than standard carbon steel finishes in harsh or exposed conditions. It won't eliminate every environmental concern, but the plating gives it a notable edge over uncoated fittings when moisture and the elements are a regular factor.
