Does this fitting come with any kind of thread sealant already on it, or is that something I gotta apply myself before putting it together?

Thread sealant is already included with the fitting, so you won't need to source or apply your own before assembly. That's one less step during installation, which matters when you're working in the field and trying to get a hose assembly buttoned up without a lot of extra prep work.
