It's made for a -16 hose dash size, which should match what you're working with.

fitting's got Dura-Kote plating on it -- does that actually hold up when things get wet or rusty out in the field?

Carbon steel fittings without a protective coating can start showing corrosion pretty fast depending on the environment. The Dura-Kote plating on this one is specifically there to push back against that. It extends the life of the hose assembly overall, which means fewer surprise failures and less downtime swapping out components that gave up too soon.
