This fitting is made for a -24 hose dash size, so it'll work with that size hose.

these fittings got the Dura-Kote plating on em -- how well does that actually hold up in wet or muddy conditions out in the field?

Carbon steel fittings normally take a beating in environments with a lot of moisture or grime, but the Dura-Kote plating on this fitting is specifically there to fight corrosion in exactly those kinds of harsh conditions. It's not just a cosmetic coating. The plating is part of how Eaton Aeroquip extends the working life of the hose assembly as a whole, so you're not pulling things apart for premature rust or surface degradation nearly as often.
