what's the corrosion resistance like on this fitting? running it somewhere it gets wet pretty regular and had cheaper ones rust out on me before

Carbon steel fittings can be rough in wet conditions, but this one carries Dura-Kote plating specifically to hold up against corrosion. It's part of what separates it from bare steel options that tend to go south fast when moisture is involved.
