What kind of corrosion protection does this fitting come with, and is it gonna hold up in wet or outdoor conditions?

Carbon steel fittings without a good coating can rust out faster than you'd like, but Eaton Aeroquip put Dura-Kote plating on this one specifically to fight corrosion. It's built to extend the working life of the assembly, so exposure to moisture and rough environments is something it's meant to handle better than an uncoated fitting would.
