Does this fitting have any kind of corrosion protection on it? Running equipment outdoors and rust has been a real problem with the fittings we been using.

got a -12 four-wire spiral hose, will this fitting crimp onto it and what thread is on the other end?

Built for Eaton Aeroquip 4S Series 4-wire spiral hose assemblies, it matches a -12 hose dash size and uses a male BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) connection on the threaded end.
