Does the corrosion resistance on this fitting hold up in wet or outdoor hydraulic setups, or is it more of an indoor-use thing?

Dura-Kote plating is built to handle corrosion exposure well beyond what standard carbon steel fittings can manage on their own. That coating is one of the main reasons this fitting meets SAE J1176 certification, which sets a real bar for performance in demanding conditions. Wet environments and exposure to the elements are exactly the kind of situations this plating was developed to address, so it's not limited to clean indoor installs.
