fitting's reusable right? trying to figure out if I can pull it off the hose and swap it onto another line without buying a whole new one

That's the point of the 4722 Series. These are reusable fittings, so you're not stuck cutting and tossing hardware every time you need to reconfigure a line. Pull it off, put it on a new hose, and you're back in business. Saves time and keeps your parts cost down on jobs where lines get swapped out regular.
