Will this here fitting work for hydraulic lines on my tractor?

It's designed for use with a 3/8 inch outer diameter hose and a 3/4-16 male SAE O-ring boss thread, meeting SAE J514 specs, so check those measurements against your tractor's lines.

got a 3/8 hose, is this the kind of fitting that just pushes into the hose and then threads into a port?

Function-wise, it is a straight hose barb on one end sized for 3/8 inch tube OD, and a male SAE O-ring boss on the other end with 3/4-16 threads per SAE J514. The seal comes from the included NBR O-ring on the ORB side.
