What kind of threads are we working with on each end of this elbow fitting?

One end is a hose barb connection with a 1-inch tube OD, and the other end is a 1-inch male NPTF thread running 11-1/2 threads per inch, built to SAE J476 spec. The 45-degree angle between the two makes routing hose assemblies a lot easier when you're working in tight quarters or need to change direction without a hard bend.

trying to swap out an elbow on a hose line, is this one hose barb on one end and male pipe thread on the other?

On the B1 side you get a hose barb connection, and on the B2 side it is a male NPTF pipe thread. The male thread is 1-11-1/2 and it follows SAE J476.
