Both ends are female BSPP on this thing, yeah? Just want to make sure I ain't got it mixed up with a male fitting before I order.

Both connections are female BSPP, G 1/2 - 14 on each side, so you'd be threading this onto male BSPP fittings or adapters at both ends. Half-inch size on both sides as well. Pretty common setup for routing a line at a 45-degree angle without needing a separate adapter in between.

trying to swap out an elbow on a line, is this one female bspP on both ends and 1/2 size?

Both ports are female BSPP, and each end is a 1/2 inch size with a G 1/2 - 14 callout, so it matches a 1/2 inch female BSPP to 1/2 inch female BSPP connection.
