Product Questions & Answers

these are reusable fittings, right? so the steel flange halves can come back off without wrecking em if I need to swap something out down the line?
Question by: Vince A on Mar 30, 2025, 6:35 AM
Reusable is correct. The 74446 series flange halves are built to be removed and reinstalled without destroying the fitting in the process, which makes them a practical choice anytime you're working on a system that sees periodic teardowns or rerouting. Ductile iron construction helps them hold up through multiple service cycles better than you'd get with a standard cast fitting.

got a 74446 series setup already, is this the same kind of flange half adapter or am i lookin at the wrong thing
Question by: Jean A on Dec 19, 2025, 2:37 PM
For matching up to the 74446 line, this part is in the Danfoss and Eaton 74446 Series steel adapter flange halves family, so it is meant for that same series style of flange half adapter.

Can these flange halves handle some pretty high pressure? Our system sees some spikes now and then.
Question by: Vince H on Nov 19, 2025, 2:18 PM
These Eaton Aeroquip flange halves are built to withstand operating pressures exceeding SAE standards, so they should handle pressure spikes well.

These the flange halves that'll hold up in a corrosive environment, or am I gonna be fighting rust on these things down the road?
Question by: Connie P on Mar 20, 2026, 6:15 AM
Dura-Kote plating is applied to these fittings specifically to push back against corrosion, so they're a solid pick for environments where moisture or other corrosive conditions are a concern. The ductile iron construction adds to that durability, giving you a fitting that's built tougher than a standard steel option in the same application.
