Will this fitting work with standard Aeroquip hose?

fitting says male flare on it, does that mean it's got the 45 degree seat on the end?

Correct on that. The 4402-10S uses a SAE 45 degree flare connection on the male end, so it'll mate up with standard female SAE 45 flare fittings or lines built to that same spec. The hose end is a dash 10 size, and that side connects to your line, hose, or tube. Carbon steel construction all the way through, so it's built to hold up in working conditions rather than just light-duty stuff.
