trying to swap out an old elbow fitting, is this one a 1/2 hose barb to 1/2 male pipe with a 90?

Matches a 90 degree brass elbow with a 1/2 inch hose barb on one end and a 1/2 inch male pipe thread on the other. It is meant to turn the line while stepping from hose to a threaded port.

what's the fitting made out of, is it brass all the way through or just coated?
