For a Vickers by Danfoss and Eaton piston pump accessory, this part is the valve plate supplied as a left hand piece, and it is specified for CCW rotation.

what's the difference between this wafer plate and a regular valve plate, and does the CCW rotation matter for which one I order?
Question by: Daryl G on May 26, 2025, 11:35 AM
Rotation matters a lot here. The CCW designation means this valve plate is built specifically for counterclockwise shaft rotation. Running a left-hand valve plate on a clockwise pump, or the other way around, will cause the pump to not port fluid correctly and you'll lose flow or damage internal components pretty quick. The package contents confirm this is a left-hand plate, which lines up with CCW rotation. So yes, always match the plate to your pump's actual rotation before ordering.
